WD HDD BLUE 7mm - 1TB Mobile PC Drive

 

This version of the 1TB WD BLUE is used for Mobile PC use, this latest generation is just 7mm in height with a 2.5 inch form factor, this helps the drive to be thin and light and is compatible with most 9.5 mm drive bays. The drive has a rotation speed of 5400 rpm. The WD BLUE Mobile PC HDD’s technical highlight is it’s 6Gb/s interface, which is the latest SATA III standard. This drive in particular has a storage capacity of 1TB and has a 16MB Cache with an access time of 5.5 ms.

 

 

The WD BLUE 7 mm hard drives have a performance increase of 16% compared to the previous generation WD BLUE harddrives, it also boasts 12% longer battery life this is due to WD engineers pushing the boundaries and developing a drive so advanced, this combination of unique challanges allowed WD to create a slim and compact drive.
